Erwan Barillot welcomes Michel Canesi for his book "Le Crépuscule d'un Dieu" as part of the Conservatoire Rachmaninoff's literary salons.

In the early 1980s, Michel Canesi befriended the famous dancer Rudolf Nureyev, becoming his personal physician and close confidant. He accompanied Nureyev until the end of his life, combining the roles of doctor and friend.

After Nureyev's death in 1993, Michel Canesi published "Le Crépuscule d'un Dieu", a moving account of the last years of the dancer's life, offering an intimate perspective on his personality and artistic universe.
