The School trains and develops amateurs of all ages and levelsand students undergoing vocational trainingand professional musiciansfuture conductors as part of a vocational training programme launched in January 2024 and led by Mathieu Herzog.

The Rachmaninoff Conservatoire has been providing excellent teaching for 100 years in the learning tradition of the Russian schoolThe aim is to bring together high standards, pleasure and sharing in the fields of music, dance and singing.

An international dimension, a particular vision of management and exemplary values in teaching are the foundation of the institution's added value.

The courses are provided in French, English or Russian within its historic site, the private mansion at 26 avenue de New York, in 12 studios adapted to different music and dance.

Students have free access to the studios* outside their private lessons, to practise their instrument.

The conservatory is also equipped withan entirely new fleet of instruments in 2020.

orchestral conducting class

Comprehensive training for professional musicians headed by Chef Mathieu Herzog.

This course is eligible for continuing professional development funding.

The programme includes 144 hours of training over 3 days of 6 hours each per month for 10 months.

  • A theory day every fortnight
  • 1 day per month of conducting practice with 2 pianists, a string ensemble or accompanied opera singers
  • Two conductors in concert.

From October 2024

QUARTET AND TRIO CLASSES

Comprehensive training for professional musicians conducted by Quatuor Ebene violinist Gabriel Le Magadure.

This course is eligible for continuing professional development funding.

To learn and perfect the art of the string quartet and trio, with the aim of developing a long-term career for the ensembles selected. To train and prepare trainees for national and international competitions.

The programme includes 160 hours of training, 4 half-days a month for 10 months.
