Launched in January 2024, the Orchestral Conducting course directed by Mathieu Herzog The Rachmaninoff Conservatoire will welcome its new intake in January 2027, following the auditions to be held in December 2026.

Building on the experience and success of these first two years for all participants, the training programme will maintain its focus and educational content in 2026.

Professional specialisations

Quartets & Trios

Following the Rachmaninoff Conservatoire's Quartet and Trio Class, the Conservatoire is opening a quartet and trio training course led by Gabriel Le Magadure in January 2025.

The aim of this class is to learn and perfect the art of the string quartet and trio, with the aim of developing a long-term career for the ensembles selected; to train and prepare students for national and international competitions, so that they can perform under the best possible conditions and contribute to the development of the young national scene.

This course is aimed at professional musicians or those on the path to becoming professionals.

Number of groups formed: 4 groups
