It's a surprising way to engage with works of art and feel them for ourselves.
Workshop presented by Mara DELLA PERGOLA, Trainer and Director of the Feldenkrais Institute in Milan, on 10 March from 7 to 9 pm at the Rachmaninoff Conservatoire.
When a work of art touches us and captivates our gaze, a double movement is triggered:
we have the impression of entering into the work of art while at the same time allowing it to enter into us, thus transforming our own lives.
sensations, our bodily feelings and our thoughts’.’
Observing a work of art is more complex and enriching than understanding and appreciating it culturally, because it generates a transformation.
Through brief sensorimotor sequences from the Feldenkrais method, we learn to refine our gaze by including our whole being, and to observe the transformations in our dialogue with the work of art.
It's an inner journey towards greater self-knowledge and self-awareness.
Come and discover the benefits of these in-depth transformations!
Mara Della Pergola is also the author of the book LE REGARD EN MOUVEMENT , Art, transformation et méthode Feldenkrais, published by Astrolabio in 2017.
